Lindsey Ritland launched her makeup career in 2006 with M.A.C. Cosmetics. After gaining a skillful and in-depth understanding of makeup and application techniques, her career path lead her to Vanity and Glamour Cosmetics. Using the Des Moines' East Village as a stepping stone to becoming a freelance makeup artist, it was here in the capital city that her creative and artistic eye was sparked.

Lindsey began working freelance in early 2007, and quickly became known as the freelance makeup artist in Des Moines for weddings, boudoir photos, beauty and editorial, and senior photos.  In addition, Ms. Ritland has made herself known through public events, films, collaborating with photographers and other hair and makeup artists in Des Moines, fundraisers and working with Meredith Corporation. You can see Lindsey Ritland’s work at: The Big Hair Ball, The Bubble Ball, Drag King, in the films “Molly’s Girl” and “Flick,” in Savior Magazine, Diabetic Living, Better Homes and Gardens, and at the 80/35 Music Festival.

With her professional experience in airbrush makeup, she specializes in photo shoots, weddings, private events, HD/Standard Definition television, film, and magazines. Lindsey is constantly striving to provide the most exceptional makeup experience, tailored specifically to each individual client. Her talent and creativity, as well as professionalism and attention to detail, are only a few of the many reasons she is the makeup artist to contact in Des Moines for any occasion.
